Believe it or not, I just found out about Dons passing. Even though today is Feb. 27, 2012. I have always thought about Don throughout the years. He was my room mate at Potsdam and was a great guy and one of the funniest guys around. He used to smoke those cigarettes and wanted to play basketball at the same time, but it never worked out. We had some great times together. Studying was not one of Dons strengths, but he was a very bright guy and we bonded together from the beginning. He even came to my brothers Bar- Mistvah in Brooklyn. I am very sad and I am sure he is missed dearly by his friends and family.

Both of my sons were acquainted with Don through their work @ Stedman & Garger. Jonathan (20) and Jeremy age 16, did yard work in the spring and fall for Don. They liked working for Don and Jeremy wanted Don to come to his Confirmation Party at our home, which Don came to and from then on was aquainted with my family. Don celebrated Thanksgiving with us last year and we enjoyed his company and watching him eat so much food. That was before he started his treatments. He alway wanted to know what the boys were up to even to the extent of telling them that I am working them too much. We will truly miss Don. He was a good friend to me and I could always count on him. As one of our Doctors (Dr. Ferraraccio said) His spirit will always be with us here on Erie Blvd. watching over us, making sure that all is right with us.

Don was a bear most of the time, but he had his moments of making all of us laugh. He would always bug me about making him ""deviled eggs"" and I would break down and make them of course. He will truly be missed by all of us.

I will miss Don so much. He was a grouch but not really. Really he was a big teddy bear. My favorite memory of him was when I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and he came to me and said "" I just want you to know, that I am really gonna miss ya around here while your on maternity leave kid."" It meant so much to me. There is a void in my heart now. He was like a dad to me.

Don was our office's big teddy bear. When we needed a pick me up he would be there to help our day go by faster with his sense of humor and his overall personality. I will miss him and him always complaining that I wouldn't put my garbage in the right bins. GEEZUS CHRIST CHRISTINA YOU PUT THEM IN THE WRONG BIN AGAIN!!!! Don will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to all of Don's family. Don and I were classmates at Onondaga Valley Academy. He was a nice guy and will surely be missed. All of us have wonderful memories from high school(mine being highlighted as the last female to graduate from Valley). Time moves so fast once anyone is out of school. Again, my deepest sympathy,Linda Cardner
