I will always remember how welcome I was in her home and how she treated me like one of her own kids. Yes, even if I did something wrong. She was one of the adults that positively influenced my upbringing. I will never forget her smile that radiated right through me whenever I saw it. It is a pleasure to know her and her family.

Dearest Pat, Debbie, Stephen and David:It is with deepest sadness that I write these words tonight. I've known Phyllis all her life and most of mine. I will greatly miss beyond words her pretty smile, tender ways, as well as my treasured friendship with her all these years between our two families. I love her as a sister and her passing will create a void in my life that never can be refilled. I will miss our closeness and family talks when we met and will remember her as the sweetest, gentlest, and most beautiful person I have ever had the privilege to know. I count myself very fortunate to have known her and my heart is filled with grief. My only consolation is knowing that God has a better plan for her.We offer our sincerest condolescences to Pat and their lovely children. May the Lord Jesus in his great mercy place His hand upon you now in your great need. With our love and sympathy, Phyllis & Dave

The first word that comes to my mind when I think of Phyllis is ""sweet"". She was such a nice person and she was always so welcoming to me. I have this wonderful memory of a time when Debbie & I were visiting her parents in Florida. It was a beautiful morning and we were on the veranda eating breakfast, looking out at the beach. Phyllis was enjoying the day and poring over the newspaper checking out the stocks, while Debbie teased her about being a stock market shark. It was just such a relaxed and happy time that has stayed with me over the years. Phyllis had so much love for the people in her life, and I know that love will remain in all of our hearts.

I remember Phyllis fondly as a wonderful neighbor and good friend to my parents. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say. She touched all of us ""Herrmann's"" and we will always remember her loving personality. I am so sorry for her family's loss. Our prayers are with you all.
