Obituary of Joan Florence Robinson

Joan Florence Robinson, 74, of Cortland, New York and formerly of Makyes Road, Onondaga Hill, New York died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Northwoods Nursing Home in Cortland. Joan was born January 14, 1931 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Milton and Florence (DuCoty) Lockward. She was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy and LeMoyne College. She was a member of Onondaga Hill Presbyterian Church and Onondaga Hill Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting. Her husband, Kenneth N. Robinson died June 17, 1988. Joan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Craig Wentworth of North Pitcher, New York; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel K. and Jill Robinson of Marathon, New York; brother and sister-in-law, James and Nancy Lockward of Syracuse, New York; three grandchildren, Danny Robinson, Zachary Wentworth and Jay (Marietta) Hollister; two great-grandchildren, Brian Hollister and Jayden Hollister; several nieces and nephews. Services: Saturday, May 14, 2005, 1:00 p.m. in Onondaga Hill Presbyterian Church, 4797 Makyes Road, Onondaga Hill, New York. Private burial in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
