Obituary of Lucy Ann Gardner

Lucy Ann Gardner, 73, of South Onondaga Road, South Onondaga, New York died peacefully Monday, April 11, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family. Lucy was born July 12, 1931 in Endwell New York, the daughter of Harold and Madonna (Eldred) Warren. She graduated from Union Endicott High School in 1949 and moved to Otisco, New York where she started a new life with her husband Stanley Gardner on September 9, 1950. Initially she was employed by General Electric at Electronics Park in Liverpool, New York. Soon thereafter her many hobbies consumed much of her time. Her first love, golf, rewarded her with league championships for two consecutive years. She also spent much of her time as a Cub Scout den mother, and was very involved with the Labrador Mountain Ski Club. Other passions included spending time at the family camp in the Adirondack Mountains and many years producing maple syrup. Lucy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Stanley Gardner; her three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Nancy Gardner of Nedrow, New York, Lenny and Kacy Gardner of Chittenango, New York, Todd and Brenda Gardner of South Onondaga, New York; six grandchildren, Patricia and Karen Gardner of Apulia, New York, Jennifer Gardner of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Brad Gardner of Chittenango, New York, Todd Ryan and Erin Gardner of South Onondaga, New York; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Sara and Jessie; her two brothers, John Warren of Endicott, New York and Marvin Warren of Richland New York; several nieces and nephews.
