Obituary of Gertrude Trudy" Hathaway

Trudy Hathaway, 55, of "The Valley" in Syracuse, New York died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at home. Trudy was born August 21, 1949 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Raymond William and Alice May (Lagoe) Wunder. She received her Bachelor Degree from Houghton College and her Master of Science from Cortland State. She retired in 1988, after working 16 years at Faith Heritage School, where she taught elementary classes and Junior High Social Studies before serving as Principal until her retirement. She was a member of LaFayette Alliance Church and the Gideon Auxiliary. Trudy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Leslie "Les" Hathaway; three sons, Michael Hathaway of San Jose, California, Nathan Hathaway and Owen Hathaway both at home; two brothers, Raymond Wunder of Syracuse, New York and John Wunder of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services: Sunday, January 30, 205, 4:00 p.m. at LaFayette Alliance Church with Pastors Rob Gates and Brian Mandigo officiating.
