Obituary of Shunda Theresa Pruitt

Shunda Theresa Pruitt, age 38, of Syracuse, New York died Thursday, December 9, 2004 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Shunda was born October 26, 1966 in Aberdeen, Mississippi and was a longtime resident of Syracuse. She was a graduate of Corcoran High School and Norfolk State University in Virginia. She was employed as a job developer with JOBS Plus in Syracuse and a member of Peoples AME Zion Church. A very outgoing person , she loved to be around people and participated in numerous activities, primarily with her children. She was preceded in death by a son, Antonio, in 2003. Shunda is survived by her two daughters, Amandolyn Pruitt and Denise Pruitt both at home, New York; one son, Emmanuel Palmer at home; her mother, Maria Pruitt of Syracuse, New York; her father, Louis Clay Jr. of Aberdeen, Mississippi; one sister, Jocelyn Bowen of Syracuse, New York; maternal grandmother, Annie Pruitt of Warren, Ohio; aunt, Allie Pruitt of Syracuse, New York; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many very close and special friends.
