Obituary of Anne M. Miller

Anne M. Miller, 84, of Onondaga Hill, New York died Thursday, November 11, 2004. Anne was born March 9, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Ernest and Winifred (McCann) Layow. She retired in 1982 after 16 years from the New York State Department of Transportation. She was a communicant of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and a life long, big time, New York Yankee's fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Miller in 1966. Mother to her two daughters, she was also considered mother to her numerous nieces and nephews. She was the matriarch of the family and everyone looked to her for advice whether it was good or bad! Anne is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Gary Webber of DeBary, Florida and Elaine and Steven Jacobs of Fayetteville, New York; one sister and her husband, Mary Joan and Lee Conway of Baldwinsville, New York; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services: Saturday, November 13, 2004, 9:45 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home and 10:45 a.m. at Cathedral of the Immaculate, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Joseph Champlin.
