Obituary of Irene M. Duncan

Irene M. Duncan, 84, of The Valley in Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Irene was born December 16, 1919 in Mandal, Norway. She was a member of St. Paul?s United Methodist Church. She loved her family and her summer home on Twitchell Lake. Irene is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert E. Duncan Sr.; two sons, Robert E. Duncan Jr. and Bruce Duncan both of Hamilton, New York; one sister: Thelma Smeds of Whiting, New Jersey; five grandchildren, Kelly Metzger, Todd Duncan, Suzanne Morgan, Reeley Duncan, and Jennifer Duncan; ; six great-granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dolf Mortensen. Services: Saturday, November 6, 2004, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc.
