Obituary of Virginia McCoy

Virginia McCoy, age 77, of Brighton Towers, Syracuse, New York died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Virginia was born June 16, 1927 in Utica, New York, the daughter of Edward and Grace (Knapp) McCoy. She was employed at Griffith Air Force Base, Rome, New York for 25 years. Virginia is survived by two sisters, Alice Dvorak of Daytona Beach, Florida and Joyce Myers of Port Charlotte, Florida; one brother, Edward McCoy Jr. of Ormond Beach, Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Mahardy and a brother, Richard McCoy. Private Burial: Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro, New York.
