Obituary of Alice Mae Gilbert

Alice Mae Gilbert, 91, formerly of Longmeadow Drive, Syracuse, New York died Thursday, October 28, 2004 at Loretto, Syracuse. Alice was born March 18, 1913 in Manlius, New York, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Field) Robbins. She was a graduate of Crouse Irving School of Nursing. She retired after many years as a Registered Nurse in the East Syracuse-Minoa School District. She was a member of OES #185 Centerville, Daughters of the Nile, Crouse Irving Alumni Association, National Association for Retired Teachers, Wagon Wheel and St. Paul?s United Methodist Church. Marion is survived by one sister, Vonda Evanchak of Liverpool; one brother, Ray Robbins of Dallas, TX; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell in 1990. Services: Monday, November 1, 2004, 9:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse, New York with Rev. Gary Rhodehamel officiating.
