Fredrick was born May 5, 1965 in Syracuse, New York, the son of David Truax who died in 1992 and Ethel Waldby Truax. Fredrick is survived by his mother, Ethel Truax of Syracuse, New York; two brothers, Michael Truax of Cicero, New York and Edward Truax of Syracuse, New York; several nieces and nephews.
