Katie L. Williams, age 62, of 705 W. Colvin Street, Syracuse, New York died Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Katie was born November 2, 1941 in Plains, Georgia. She retired as an underwriter from St. Paul Insurance in 2000. She was preceded in death by her daughter Agnes P. Thomas, December 24, 1998. Katie is survived by her husband of 28 years, Cornel V. Williams; three sons, Clauson Winston Harris Jr. of Waverly, Virginia, Mark Jeffery Harris Sr. of Syracuse, New York and Walter Conrad (Ulanda) Harris of Owings Mills, Maryland; stepdaughter, Dorothy Louise Williams of Takoma, Washington; three sisters, Mary Reese of Waukegan, Illinois, Rozella (Donald) Cassidy of Camillus, New York and Bernes Wagner of Syracuse, New York; one brother, Dock Ballard of Syracuse, New York; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service: Thursday, September 16, 2004, 1:00 p.m. in Mt. Carmel Seventh Day Adventist Church, 140 Furman Street, Syracuse, New York.
