Obituary of Anne M. Fowler

Beloved mother Anne M. Fowler, 81, of Buckley Landing, North Syracuse, New York died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Anne was born August 3, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Wurster) Penrose, who predeceased her. She was an army veteran serving during World War II. She received the American Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. She is survived by her children, Anne Simmons of LaFayette, New York; David Fowler of Tully, New York, Douglas Fowler of Beaverton, Oregon and Michael Fowler of Honolulu, Hawaii; two sisters, Kathleen Eiland of Pottstown, Pennsylvania and Helen Penrose of Honolulu, Hawaii; two brothers, Joseph (Maryann) Penrose and Peter (Doris) Penrose both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
