Obituary of Michael J. Brown

Michael J. Brown Jr., 73, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at home after a long illness. Michael was born July 19, 1930 in Tuxedo, New York, the son of Michael P. and Helen (McCarthy) Brown. Recently of Syracuse, he was a long time resident of Rockland and Sullivan Counties. He graduated from Suffern High School, served in the United States Navy and retired from American Cynamid Company. Michael is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ramona Leonard Brown; two daughters, Cynthia (Thomas) Cawley of Syracuse, New York and Susan Coulter of New Jersey; one son, Michael D. (Soren) Brown of White Plains, New York; one sister, Eileen Knipe of New York City, New York; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: Saturday, July 10, 2004, 10:00 a.m. in The Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 312 Lakeside Road, Syracuse, New York.
