Obituary of Robert L. Pollock

Robert L. Pollock, Sr., 84, of Syracuse, New York died Monday, July 5, 2004 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Robert was born November 9, 1919 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Harry and Lillian (Lyman) Pollock. A life resident of the Syracuse area, he retired in 1993 as an independent Taxi Driver following over 50 years of service. He graduated from Vocational High School and was an Army veteran serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine M. Benz Pollock who died May 25, 1998. Robert is survived by two sons and their wives, Robert L. Jr. and Donna Pollock and David C. and Tracey Pollock all of Syracuse, New York; one brother, Richard Pollock of Cicero, New York; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Services: Thursday, July 8, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse, New York. Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery, 2932 Warners Road, Warners, New York.
