Obituary of Elizabeth W. Brien

Elizabeth "Betty" Welch Brien, 76, of Onondaga Hill, New York died Monday, July 5, 2004 surrounded by her family at Community General Hospital after a short illness. Elizabeth was born September 14, 1927 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Francis E. and Mary I (O'Brien) Welch. She was a life resident of Syracuse. Betty is survived by her husband, Lawrence E. Brien of Onondaga Hill, New York; one daughter, Donna Follett of "The Valley", Syracuse, New York; three sons, David G. Brien of Clay, New York, James P. Brien of Fairmount, New York and William L. Brien of Eastwood, New York; two brothers, Leo Welch of Baldwinsville, New York and Francis Welch of North Syracuse, New York; ten grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: Wednesday, July 7, 2004, 9:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Syracuse, New York and 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Robert D.
