I knew Marian when I worked at the Food Consortium. She was such an inspiration! I never saw her without a smile and postitive statement. She was one of the rare individuals who would never judge, but just humbly serve. I learned a lot from Marian. My wish is that she's finally resting and letting someone else take care of everything!

Sandra and family, Ron and I are saddened to hear of your loss. Marian was a special friend to many, one of those hard to find. I am sure that others share your feelings of joy in knowing such a special woman and the saddness of your loss. If there is anything we can do for you or your family, please do not hesitate to let us know. Sincerely, Jacqui Jackson-Young

Sandra, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. While I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, from what I have read about her life, she was undoubtedly full of kindness and generosity. Surely, she will be missed by many, but those who she has touched shall remember her fondly for years to come. I suspect her legacy of caring for others is left to you and your siblings. May God Bless and comfort you during this time and always.

It was so nice to read about your wonderful mother. From Sandra, we've gotten a glimpse of what a dynamo Marian must have been...both from Sandra's stories about her and from seeing those same terrific traits that Sandra must have inherited from her. Hugs to all of you. We are so sorry for your loss. sincerely, Susan

Aunt Marian was always fun to be around on our rare visits to New York state. Her laughter was such that everyone around her would be laughing no matter what the topic. Her work helping others through the Food Pantry is a lesson for us all. I am proud to be her nephew.

Dear Karen and Family,My sincere condolences to all. Your Mom sounded like a fun loving gal. I wished I could have known her and also seen her "speeding through the parking lot". That would have been so cool. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.Sincerely, Nancy Lyon, College of Nursing, SUNY Upstate
