Obituary of Christos G. Stathatos

Christos G. Stathatos, 82, of Route 20, LaFayette, New York died Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at Iroquois Nursing Home, Jamesville, New York. Christos was born May 25, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of George and Athina (Sakogiani) Stathatos. He was a graduate of Neutrect High School in Brooklyn, New York. He worked at various schools in the Syracuse City School District retiring in 1984. He was a member of Columbian Presbyterian Church and its choir. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. Christos is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karin (Iurino) Stathatos; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Chris Maloney of LaFayette, New York; one stepdaughter, Suzanne Vinch of LaFayette, New York; three grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew and Amber Maloney. Services: Saturday, June 12, 2004, 10:00 a.m. in Columbian Presbyterian Church, corner of Route 20 and Route 11, LaFayette, New York.
