Obituary of Arthur F. Thoma

Arthur F. Thoma, age 84, formerly of W. Brighton Avenue, Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at the home of his nephew and his wife, Doug and Lina Thoma, in Canastota, New York. Arthur was born January 2, 1920 in Syracuse, New York the son of Arthur C. and Mary E. (Hoare) Thoma. He retired in 1981 from New Process Gear after 31 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a member of United Auto Workers of America Local 624. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Utick Thoma in 1993 and a brother, Roger in 1995. Services: Friday, June 11, 2004, 12:00 noon at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Syracuse, New York with Father Thomas Fitzpatrick officiating. Entombment: St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, 4100 E.
