Probably the greatest mile runner the Syracuse area ever had. Set Onondaga County records, 1952 & 1953 in the mile and medley relay while at Fayetteville High School. We have been trying to find Jim for his Fifth Reunion of Fayetteville High School. Never did we realize he was so close! We will all miss our fine friend, Jim.

I enjoyed my visits with Jim every Friday at Francis House. We talked about our shared interest in history, especially the Split Rock explosion, about which he gave me a litte book which will remind me of him. I enjoyed listening to his stories of the military and of his pride in his children. I reminded Jim that God loved him too much not to bring him home to Him. Jim had much confidence in this. I am glad to have met him.Rev. Peter ReddickSt. Patrick Church, SyracusePastor

To the Rensy Family :It's apparent t see the respect and honor attached to your father's name. I have seen first hand how this legacy has been passed down to his son, Rob. It is obvious to see with the guidance of James and Sharon, this too has been passed down to all of his children. Please note that many hearts are filled with compassion for your family, at such a time of loss. And many realize that settling your thought process is not an easy battle!!! Being that you are in "the front line" makes that battle a very intense and sensitive issue. So use your memories as a gift from your Dad, that of which has been given to you as a resource. Memories are something that no one can take from you, so draw from your memory bank and rejoice, cry and captivate the understanding bond, held between you and your family. ~He is always in your heart! ~ May God Bless ~My regards to all,Sara Moon

Sorry to hear about your father, our thoughts are with you. Todd and I are both out of town tomorrow, and will not be able to attend the services. If you need anything let us know, see you soon.
