Obituary of Rose Ann DeGonzaque

Rose Ann DeGonzaque, ago 90, of Buckley Landing, North Syracuse New York died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at home. Rose was born in Akwasasne on August 27, 1913, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Tarbell) Tarbell. She was a member of the Wolf Clan, a communicant of St. Lucy?s Church and a member of the Kateri Tekakwitha Committee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos J. DeGonzaque Sr. in 1974 and four sons, Robert, Amos J. Jr., David L. and Walter J. DeGonzaque. Rose is survived by one daughter and her husband, Julie and David Daniels of North Syracuse, New York; two sons and their wives, Joseph and Louise Cook of Akwasasne and John R. and Norma DeGonzaque of Sierra Vista, Arizona; one sister: Margaret Hall of Syracuse, New York; 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services: Monday, June 7, 2004, 8:15 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Syracuse and 9:00 a.m. in St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford Street, Syracuse, New York. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, 4100 E.
