Obituary of Elwood R. Johnson

Elwood R. Johnson, age 88, of Syracuse, New York died Monday, May 24, 2004 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Elwood was born August 5, 1915 in Rochester, New York, the son of Henry A. and Ruth A. (Record) Johnson. He lived most of his life in Syracuse, New York. He was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy and retired in 1980 after 41 years with Lipe Rollway. He was predeceased by his first wife Eleanor and a daughter, Marilyn Trach. Elwood is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dorothy; one daughter, Linda Auffhammer of Syracuse, New York; one son, Ronald Johnson of Cicero, New York; two stepsons, Thomas Etter of Florida and Timothy Etter of Erieville, New York; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
