Obituary of Adelina Steier

Adelina Steier, 86, of Syracuse, New York died Thursday, May 20, 2004 at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre, Syracuse. Adelina was born January 17, 1918 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Constantino and Anna Ianuzzi. She retired from Dey Brothers after working there for 30 years. She was a past member of American Legion Valley Post 1468 Auxiliary, a communicant of St. James Church and a member of their Altar & Rosary Society. She was supportive to her husband with his many years of service to the Nedrow Fire Department and the American Valley Legion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Steier who died March 27, 2002 and two brothers, Tony Ianuzzi, formerly of Arizona and Frank Ianuzzi, formerly of Sherrill, New York. Adelina is survived by two sons, Arthur F. Steier of Little York, New York and Edward A. Steier of Ballwin, Missouri; two sisters, Carmella Gianqutti of Baldwinsville, New York and Mary Johnson of Florida; one brother, Daniel Ianuzzi of Florida; two granddaughters, Jennifer Lynn and Lisa Marie Steier both of Rochester, New York. Services: Monday, May 24, 2004, 5:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse with Monsignor Robert Davern officiating.
