Obituary of Jennie H. Williams

Jennie A. Horning Williams, 86, died Tuesday, April 6 at Northwoods Nursing Home in Cortland after a period of declining health. She had resided at 212 Monticello Drive South for many years. Born in Herkimer County to Roscoe and Mary Horning, the youngest of five children, she moved to Syracuse in 1950. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Hugh Kenneth Williams in 1998. She is survived by two daughters: Katherine Williams of North Carolina and Janice Williams of Dryden, NY. Interment was private in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse on April 9. Contributions in her memory may be made to the local ASPCA.
