Obituary of Robert B. Waters

Robert B. Waters, Sr. age 88, of Manlius, New York and formerly of Onondaga Hill, New York, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Robert was born April 13, 1915 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Frederick and Florence (Ballard) Waters. He was a graduate of North High School and a communicant of St. Michael's Church. He worked for 22 years for the Post Standard as Circulation Manager and retired in 1981 after 25 years as Advertising Manager for the South Side News. He was a very active member of the Southside Business Men's Club. Mr. Waters is survived by one daughter, Janice M. Waters of Syracuse, New York; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert B. Jr. and Sharon Waters of Marcellus, New York; two grandaughters, Cristina Waters of Annapolis, Maryland and Cathleen Waters of New York City, New York. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Elizabeth P. Patell in 1991. Funeral Service: Friday, March 26, 2004, 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 4782 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Morrisette.
