Obituary of Arthur C. Poppy" Revette

Arthur C. "Poppy" Revette, 59, of Liverpool, New York died Saturday, March 6, 2004 at home following a long battle with cancer. Arthur was born April 13, 1944 in Syracuse, New York, the son of James C. and Leona (Miner) Revette. He retired from Fleetwood Drywall as a finisher in 1990 following 30 years of service. He also worked for several years with Painters Local Union No. 31. He was a communicant of St. James Church, and a former member of the Outcast Motorcycle Club. Poppy is survived by his wife of 41 years, the former Genny LaLonde, two sons, Art C. Revette Jr. and Bill Revette; one daughter, Laurie; one sister, Beverly Douglas, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend Tyler Morris. Services: Tuesday, March 9, 2004, 10:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Monsignor Robert Davern. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
