Obituary of Mary Janice Gabriel

Mary Janice Gabriel, age 62, of LaFayette, New York died Monday, February 16, 2004 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Mary was born August 29, 1941 in Greene, New York, the daughter of Frank and Jeanette (Corbine) Harris. She was the wife of the late Charles Clark Gabriel Sr. who died August 1, 1988. She was a loving, compassionate mother and grandmother with a very contagious laugh. She is survived by three sons, Richard (Dawn) Harris of Tully, New York, Charles Clark Gabriel Jr. of LaFayette, New York and Arthur (Christine) Gabriel of Tully, New York; five daughters, Patricia Gabriel of Syracuse, New York, Janice (Brad) Aungier of LaFayette, New York, Betty Gabriel of Syracuse, New York, Karen (George) Scheftic of LaFayette, New York and Harriet Gabriel of LaFayette, New York; three brothers, Frank (Gloria) Harris Jr. of Baldwinsville, New York, Donald Harris of Syracuse, New York and Robert (Nila) Harris of Kentucky; two sisters, Doris Roth of Bridgeport, New York and Lois Goodnough of Baldwinsville, New York; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services: Thursday, February 19, 2004, 9:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse with Rev. David Hoeldtke officiating.
