Obituary of Susan M. Dodge

Susan M. Dodge, 42, of 3453 Collins Road, Navarino, New York died Thursday, January 22, 2004 doing what she did best, helping others. Susan was born October 22, 1961 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Richard E. and Roberta L. (Marty) Dodge. She was a graduate of LaFayette High School Class of 1979 and attended Onondaga Community College and SUNY Brockport. She was a woman of all trades, a highly respected screen printer for 25 years, an antique dealer and collector. She was a fun loving, good hearted soul who loved family, friends, animals and children. She loved sports, especially Syracuse University Sports. Susan is survived by her life partner, Nancy Natale of Navarino, New York; mother, Roberta Dodge of Tully, New York and father, Richard E. Dodge of LaFayette, New York; six sisters, Deborah Dodge of Syracuse, New York, Sharon and her husband Roger McElhannon of LaFayette, New York, Stacey Langdon of Concorde, North Carolina, Stephanie Parr of Tully, New York, Carolyn Dodge of Fulton, New York and Betty Lyons of LaFayette, New York; two brothers, Richard R. Dodge of LaFayette, New York and Timothy Dodge of Tully, New York; maternal grandmother, Anna A. Ball of Syracuse, New York; several beloved nieces and nephews and her beloved pets, Jake, Noah and Emily. Services: Tuesday, January 27, 2004, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Michael Grinnals officiating. Spring Burial: LaFayette Rural Cemetery, LaFayette, New York.
