Norma K. Kurgan, age 76, of Syracuse, New York and formerly of LaFayette, New York died Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at home. Norma was born April 12, 1927 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Elmer Eugene and Margarite Moss. She was the wife of John J. Kurgan Sr. who died in 1970. She was a graduate of LaFayette High School and a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, LaFayette, New York. She retired from The Bon Ton in Dewitt, New York in 2001 after 15 years of service as a sales clerk. She is survived by her son, Rev. Mr. John J. Kurgan of Baltimore, Maryland; one sister, Elizabeth Duffy of Phoenix, New York and one brother, Eugene Moss of Syracuse, New York. Services: Friday, November 7, 2003, 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 6136 Cherry Valley Turnpike, LaFayette, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Michael Minehan.
