Obituary of Sarah J. Stout

Sarah J. Stout, 77 of Oneida died Wednesday at Rome Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Stout was a homemaker and helped many friends with household chores. She was a Turtle Clan member of the Oneida Indian Nation. She enjoyed bowling, painting and was a professional Bingo player. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and loved lacrosse. She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert Stout (1965), her son Kenton Stout (1985), daughter Terry Lowe (1975), her father William Powless and her mother Elizabeth Thomas. Survivors: daughters, Patrice Bucktooth and Angela Bucktooth (Brian) both of Onondaga Nation, Luanne Pierce (Jack), Jayne Clark (Edwin), Christy Kaulback (Billy), all of Syracuse, Caroline Touse (Mark) of Nedrow, Jeannette Lyons (Kingsley, Jr.) of Lafayette; sons; Gilbert Stout, Sr. (Jancie) of Oneida, Murray "Ace" Stout, Sr., (Kim) of Onondaga Hill; sisters, Helen Jones of Onondaga Nation, Rosella Peters of Martville, brothers; Larry Gabriel of Chittenango, Maynard "Dip" Gabriel of Syracuse, 36 Grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
