I will miss his humor, and his pragmatic approach to medical care. It was always a treat to see him on the office schedule. He also inspired a number of medical students and junior residents by his confidence in their abilities.

It is rare to meet a general practitioner who had such a broad knowledge of medicine and who considered every challenge a learning experience. Dr. Grover was that Doctor. Not only did he take care of my husband and me, he also took care of our children, Michael and Christopher. My mother, Liz Huff, who passed away in April, was one of Dr. Grover's nurses. She shared many stories about Dr.'s dog ""Charlie"", the race horse ""Charlie's Nurses"", going to Saratoga and Vernon Downs and how every day, Dr. would bring a basket full of articles for al to read. He kept all of his staff apprised of all the latest medical news and gave them the opportunity to attend lectures and seminars. He always treated his help well and would never fail to write a thank you not to anyone who did something for him. Our whole family extends our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Grover, Susan, Karen, Dr. Grover Jr., and grandchildren. May it comfort you to know that we care.

My knowledge of Dr. Grover comes from the Huff family. Thet always spoke highly of him. He was a great man, which made for a great doctor as well. He was also a person who thirsted to know more. He will be missed in the world. He served the world well. May he rest in peace. May his family find comfort in the life that he lived.

Dr. Grover was my Family's Doctor and the first doctor I ever had (37 years) until his retirement. As a child I remember the polio shots and lollipops, the bouts of strep throat, the school immunizations, the sprains and though his office always seemed full, you were never rushed and he took the time to talk with you. His demeanor and stories did much to calm your fears and his genuine concern for you as a person was a rare gift. I also remember his fondness for the dachshund who used to sit and play at the feet of those in the office. He was a good man and a good doctor.

The finest doctor that I have ever known as well as one of the most caring person. He took care of me ever since I was a teenager and he and my mom who worked for him, who recently passed away, had a wonderful fondness for each other. One thing that i have always respected about him was that he always kept himself up-to-date,even to the end, in the medical world. My deepest condolences to all. He will be in my thoughts and prayers forever.. Rest in peace..Mike Huff

It was with sadness that I read of the passing of Dr.Grover and could only think of Susan and Karen and their families as I remembered the passing of my mother, just a short time ago and how difficult it was. So much time has passed and yet one remembers times and people who left positive lasting impressions on us, through our years at Westhill that I felt compelled to express my condolences. The good doctor has so much to be proud of. God Bless, Dick Clarke

Chet would like you all to know that Doc Grover was the only Doctor that made him feel like a man. He listened to his complaints and was able to help him. There will never be another Doctor like him.
