Obituary of Helen C. Hibbard

Helen C. Hibbard, age 94, formerly of 517 Bradford Parkway, Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at Alterra Wynwood of Manlius. Helen was born September 9, 1909 in Brookfield, New York, the daughter of Clarence and Clara (Davis) Cook. She owned and operated with her husband Whirlpool Washing Machine Company and Danforth Apartments on Park Street. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Hibbard in 1976 and a sister Olive Mongak in 2000. Mrs. Hibbard is survived by her sister, Irene Pross of Largo, Florida, sister and brother-in-law, Ola K. and William A. Lunsford of Syracuse, New York; brother-in-law, Daniel Mongak of New Jersey; nephews, Ronald Mongak and Richard Mongak both of New Jersey; nieces, Barbara Lester of Deposit, New York, Cheryl Tribe of Sarasota, Florida, Bonnie Lunsford of Camillus, New York and Sandra Kurtz of New Jersey; several great nieces and great nephews. Services: Saturday, September 27, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse, New York with Rev. Landrum Wooten officiating.
