Obituary of Marie L. Ott

Marie L. Ott, age 93, of Syracuse, New York, died Sunday, August 10, 2003 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Marie was born December 21, 1909 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of August and Catherine (Gravius) Ott. She retired in 1977 as Secretary to the Manager of the Onondaga County War Memorial. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was Financial Secretary for many years. She is survived by her sister, Eleanora Ott of Syracuse, New York; brother, Norman Ott of Rising Fawn, Georgia; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 15, 2003 in Atonement Lutheran Church, 116 W. Glen Avenue, Syracuse with Pastor Nelson Gaetz officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Comstock Avenue, Syracuse, New York. Contributions may be made to Atonement Lutheran Church, 116 W. Glen Avenue, Syracuse, New York, 13205.
