Obituary of Robert W. Weber

Robert W. Weber, age 71, of Brighton Towers and formerly of Byrne Place, Syracuse, New York died Monday, March 10, 2003 at home Robert was born January 6, 1932 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the son of Wallace L. and Helen (Shepard) Weber. He was a graduate of LaFayette High School. He retired in 1988 as an accountant with Carrier Corp. after 36 years. He was a Navy veteran, a member of American Legion Valley Post 1468 and American Legion Eastwood Post 1276. He was preceded in death by his son, David A. Weber, Sept. 11, 1982 and a sister, Jeanne W. Kompf, March 12, 2002. Mr. Weber is survived by two daughters, Peggy A. Gibson of Lake Worth Beach, Florida and Patricia J. Weber of North Syracuse, New York; two sons, Robert W. Weber, Jr. of Boynton Beach, Florida and Mark D. Weber of Delray Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral: Friday, March 14, 1003, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., with Father Raymond B. Wood officiating. Burial: Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Road, Syracuse. Friends may call Thursday, March 13, 2003, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 4612 S.
