Obituary of Kenneth W. Wright

Dr. Kenneth W. Wright of Syracuse, New York died Sunday, February 16, 2003 at Community General Hospital. Kenneth was born June 13, 1912 in West Chazy, New York, the son of Stanley W. and Edna (Bedford) Wright. He was a 1938 graduate of Syracuse University School of Medicine and he was the first admitting physician for Community General Hospital. Dr. Wright served as Deputy Commissioner of Health for Onondaga County and Commissioner of Health for Cayuga County. He was the author of Foundations Well & Truly Laid. He was an Army Medical Corps. veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, the former Lois Shea; two daughters, Nancy Tucker of Syracuse, New York and Janet McElwee of North Manchester, Indiana; one son, Geoffrey Wright of Syracuse, New York; one sister, Alice Herbert of Florida; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
