Obituary of Robert J. Dempsey

Robert J. Dempsey, age 79, of Syracuse, New York died Saturday, February 15, 2003 at University Hospital, Syracuse. Robert was born November 21, 1923 in Tully, New York and graduated from Tully High School. He lived in Syracuse for many years. He retired from the Bernadine Apartments in 1989 as a maintenance person following 10 years of service and he previously worked for Seneca Dairy and Byrne Dairy. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Dempsey is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn M. Long Dempsey; two daughters, Teresa M. Cherchio of Syracuse, New York and Roberta M. Dempsey of Warners, New York; two sons, Michael J. Dempsey and Timothy J. Dempsey both of Syracuse, New York; 8 grandchildren.
