Obituary of Charles S. Shepard

Charles S. "Charlie" Shepard, age 79, of Syracuse, New York died Monday, January 27, 2003 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Charles was born June 14, 1923 in Clarendon, New York, the son of Sydney and Lila M. (Meade) Shepard. He was a graduate of Holley High School. He was employed as a machine operator at Rockwell International, Syracuse, New York for 15 years and was formerly employed at Weedsport Tool & Machine for 15 years. He was a former member of Meridian Volunteer Fire Department and the Central New York Dairy Goat Association. He was preceded in death by his wifes, Marion Evarts Shepard, Carol Tack Shepard and Julia Shaylor Shepard. Mr. Shepard is survived by his three daughters, Patricia Blair of Arlington, Texas, Sibyl McNulty of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Kathie Baldwin of Syracuse, New York; a stepdaughter, Carol Tack of Syracuse, New York; two stepsons, Michael Tack of Syracuse, New York and Ty Shaylor of Syracuse, New York; two sisters, Dorothy Olsen of Webster, New York and Constance Helmer of Montezuma, New York; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral: Thursday, January 30, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York with Rev. Loomis Goode officiating.
