Harriet Jean Hughes of Valley Vista Apartments, Syracuse, New York died Friday, January 24, 2003 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Harriet was born in Watertown, New York, the daughter of Laurence and Elizabeth Hughes. She was a graduate of Nottingham High School and was employed by King Laboratory, Syracuse, New York for several years. She is survived by her son: Larry R. Hughes of Marcellus, New York; her father, Laurence Hughes of Mattydale, New York; two sisters, Beverly A. Hughes of Syracuse, New York and Mary B. Carpenter of East Syracuse, New York; one grandson. Funeral: Tuesday, January 28, 2002, 12:00 noon, at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Thomas Schafer officiating.
