Obituary of Carl E. Fisher

Carl E. Fisher, age 80, of Tully, New York died Thursday, January 23, 2003 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Carl was born August 9, 1922 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Otis and Gladys (Breed) Fisher. He was a graduate of Tully High School. He was the owner and operator of C. E. Fisher Roofing Co. in Tully, New York for 36 years. He was past president of the Tully Chamber of Commerce, a member of Tully Fire Department, American Legion Tully Post 936 and Tully Masonic Lodge 896 F&AM. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving with the 44th Tank Battalion Company C in the Pacific Theater. He was preceded in death by his wife, May E. Fisher, September 7, 2002. Mr. Fisher is survived by his three sons and their wives, Gerald C. and Donna Fisher of Auburn, New York, David O. and Shelly Fisher of Fabius, New York and Steven H. and Mary Fisher of Tully, New York; three sisters, Pearl Thomas of Baldwinsville, New York, Dorothy McConnell of LaFayette, New York and Joyce Ackles of Barker, New York; two brothers, Irving Fisher of Tully, New York and Fay Fisher of Tully, New York; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Funeral: Sunday, January 26, 2003, 4:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Jill Magnuson officiating. Graveside Service: Tuesday, May 6, 2003, 1:00 p.m. at Tully Cemetery, Tully, New York.
