Obituary of Margaret M. Spratt

Margaret M. "Peggy" Spratt, age 84, of 119 Bailey Drive, Nedrow, New York, died Friday, November 22, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Margaret was born December 2, 1917 in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of James and Marie (Welch) Walsh. She was a graduate of Ithaca High School. She retired in 1978 after 25 years with the United States Department of Agriculture in Ithaca and Syracuse, New York and she was formerly employed by Cornell University Weather Station. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Walter R. Spratt; one daughter, Margery Spratt-Smith of Nedrow, New York. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth R. Spratt who died in 1973.
