Obituary of Thomas C. Sullivan

Thomas C. Sullivan, age 74, of Ft. Pierce, Florida died Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Thomas was born May 30, 1928 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Myles and Myrtle (Crouse) Sullivan. He was a graduate of Christian Brother Academy class of 1945 and Syracuse Univesity class of 1949. He retired in 1988 after 35 years as a certified public accountant for Eagan Real Estate. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. In Syracuse, New York, he was a communicant of St. James Church and a former trustee, member of Knights of Columbus and former member of Valley Men?s Club. In Ft. Pierce, Florida, he was a communicant of Holy Cross Church, member and treasurer of the Sands on the Ocean, member and former president of Dune Walk, member and Vice President of Hibiscus and a member of Elks BPOE. He was an avid bowler and golfer participating in various leagues. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Silvin Sullivan, June 23, 1995. He is survived by his wife of five years, Myrtie Lou Richter Sullivan; three daughters, Maureen A. Sullivan of Syracuse, New York, Colleen Bloom of LaFayette, New York and Kathleen Wood of Camillus, New York; one son, Thomas T. Sullivan of Freeport, New York; three step-daughters, Sheila Parks of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Mary Marimodesto of Waterford, Michigan and Patricia Cormier of Tuscon, Arizona; one step-son, Mark J. Galardi of Highland, Michigan; four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren. Funeral: Friday, November 22, 2002, 10:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. and 11:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Daniel J. O'Hara. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, 4100 E. Genesee Street, Dewitt, New York.
