Obituary of Geraldine F. Mercado

Geraldine F. Mercado, age 71, of Syracuse, New York, died Friday, November 8, 2002 at University Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Geraldine was born May 2, 1931 in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Genaro Montalvo and Beatrice (Crawford) Mercado. She was the wife of the late Rueben Spencer who died June 26, 1966. She retired in 1993 after 25 years as a registered nurse at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. Mrs. Mercado is survived by one son, Ralph A. Spencer of Syracuse, New York; two sisters, Mona Way and Linda Taylor both of Newark, New Jersey; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
