Obituary of Alexander Albie" Barr

Alexander Barr age 88, of Syracuse died Sunday, September 22, 2002 at Community General Hospital, Syracuse. Mr. Barr was the son to the late Robert and the late Harriett Barr. He was the husband of the late Hazel Ann Neyhart who died in 1992. And is preceded in death by a son, Richard E. Barr who died in 1995. He was retired from Strodel Distributors in 1971. Following retirement he worked as an administrater for Chemical Bank in Syracuse, NY. He is survived by 2 daughters: Patricia Ann Barr-Streeter from Paoali, PA, Charlotte M. Barr-Higgins from Orlando, FL. 2 sons: Terry R. Barr from Marlborough, CN, John A. Barr from Cincinnatus, NY. 17 Grandchildren and14 Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 at St. Paul?s United Methodist Church, 2200 Valley Drive, Syracuse with Rev. Harold Bruen officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. 4612 S. Salina Street Syracuse, New York 13205.
