Obituary of Jack C. Kenyon

Jack C. Kenyon, age 79, of South Onondaga, died Friday, December 14, 2001 at home. Mr. Kenyon was born March 8, 1922 in Navarino, New York, the son of Jay C. and Cecil May (Quick) Kenyon. Mr. Kenyon attended Onondaga Central School. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He owned Plato Typewriter Exchange for 35 years and also owned JAK Antiques and Collectibles. He was a former member of South Onondaga Volunteer Fire Department and a Charter member of Tanner Valley Golf Club. He was a piano player. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Arlene C. Bittel; two daughters: Linda Kenyon Dill and Jacqueline M. Kenyon both from South Onondaga, New York; one son: Richard J. Kenyon from Sennett, New York; two brothers: Herbert A. Kenyon from North Syracuse, New York and Nelson J. Kenyon from Nedrow, New York; 4 Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be Monday, December 17, 2001, 1:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, with Rev. Janet Gleason officiating. Burial will be in South Onondaga Cemetery, South Onondaga, New York Memorials may be made to Hospice Of Central New York, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, New York 13088.
