Lynn & Jay,My heartfelt condolences on you moms passing. She was a wonderful woman and so full of laughter. I remember sitting at the kitchen table with her and Lynn, having her laugh at my exploits in life and her words of wisdom also. I wish I was able to join you at this time as Lynn did when my mother passed. Your parents have always been in my thoughts as the two of you from church and school. It seems like a lifetime away but then again only yesterday. From all the golfballs in your backyard to the two of you singing in the choir, your family has always been a stable point in my life. My heart and sorrow is with you at this time. Even though I have moved, traveled and settled, my thoughts always go back to the Valley Church and our beginnings. I just want to let you know I'll always remember the closing benediction and the choir singing "Praise God from whose all blessings flow" Michael

While serving as pastor at Onondaga Valley PC, Bar-bara was someone in whom I could confide, an incredible gift for any clergyperson. I knew I could trust and rely on her for support and honest feedback. I treasured her friendship. I am a better person because God graced and blessed me with her presence. I loved her dearly. I will pray for God's peace and comfort for her wonderful children and grandchildren who were loved by both Barb and Harry, two of the finest people I have known. It is a joy knowing that she is safe in God's arms and is now face-to-face with the Lord of her life, Jesus Christ.Thank you, Barb, for your loving friendship. I will always treasure the wonderful memories I have of the years we served together.

Hi,My thoughts and prayers are with you. We were in Syracuse a couple of weeks ago during the Valley Field Days. We had Tammy, our youngest, who is due in Dec with the first boy grandchild. We stopped at the church on Sunday morning, but it was being held in the park, so we started for home early.Your Mom and Dad were pillars of OVPC for many years. Now they have earn their rest. Some how one can leave the Valley, but never really get very far away.Take care,Carl & Jeannette Donahue
