Obituary of Alberta Cromie

Alberta Cromie, 92, life resident of Syracuse, New York, died Monday, March 6, 2006 at Birchwood Health Care Center, Liverpool, New York. Alberta was born August 3, 1913 in Sryacuse, New York, the daughter of Albert and Flossie (Jackson) Yeakel. She was a bookkeeper for the Syracuse Council Of Churches, retiring in 1978 after 25 years and was a member of South Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her son, David A. Cromie, August 1998 and her sister, Virginia Kirschenbaum, December 2005. Alberta is survived by her niece, Carol (Robert) Sterling of Rochester, New York; two nephews, John (Nancy) Kirschenbaum of Seatle, Washington and Peter (Carol) Kirschenbaum of Sparta, New Jersey; several great nieces and nephews.
