My sincere condolences to you on the death of your Dad. He was such a wonderful, gentle and kind husband, dad and grandfather. We enjoyed many good times with your Mom and Dad tailgating at SU football games and many bus trips to see the Orangemen play. A better co-worker than Chuck I couldn't find. I'm sure Chuck, Dorothy, Paul Peach and Harold are enjoying each others company. -Annie

To The Ludwig Family,My memories of Mr. Ludwig span the decade I grew up on Hopper Rd. Along with Shawn, Scotty, T.J., Miki, Chas, Michael Meyers, I think Mr & Mrs Ludwig never got tired of having kids run around thier house. My fondest memories are of Mrs. L always telling Chas and us kids to be sure of " No Monkey Business" goes on if we where playing inside the house. Ofcourse Mr. L had his signature shout for Chas when it was time to come in for the night. No matter were you where on Hopper you heard his deep shout "Chaass"... They were the last of a bygone era when you trusted your neighbor's and they welcomed you into thier lives. Let you run around the yard and raise a little hell. My heart goes out to all his children as I lost my father few years ago. It's a void that can never be filled. Rest in PeaceMike GuyderKissimmee, FL

Chuck was one of our dearest friends. We treasure our fond memories of tailgating before the SU football games. He was the ""King of Rah-Rah"" and we would always march in with the band. Your mom and dad were the kindest people we have ever met and we will cherish knowing them forever.

My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. May God Bless you and give you strength and comfort in this difficult time.I know first hand the pain and sorrow each of you feel, having just lost my Dad Aug 20th so suddenly.I have many memories of times that were spent early in life on Barnes Ave with your Dad and Mom, Pegy,Mary and Chuckie.I remember your Dad at the phone Co and of parties at Hopper Rd. Dad would alway teese me about how he use to watch all of us and how Peggy always would climb into the bath tub with the O'Connor's instead of her house. He always made it a point to let everyone know that he use to give me a bath when I was young.Lean on each other and don't forget his legacy-celebrate his life!Love to All'Patty

To the Ludwig Family,I am deeply sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. It has been a long time since any of our paths have crossed, but our families were close back in the Barnes Ave days and I enjoy sharing those memories with our kids. I remember well your Dad helping mine io build a fence in our backyard and how the fence posts looked curiously like telephone poles....I am sure that was just a coincidence!!Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
