Dad,I am glad that the suffering has stopped. I know that you had a rough time over the past years and that has passed. I thank you for the traits that you instilled in me, my love of sports, music, motorcycles. My strength as a person and a man. I am glad that we left nothing unsaid and that we were comfortable with that. I am glad that you got a chance to be a grandfather, and I won't let Dylan forget you. I will miss you but I know that you are in a better place. I will see you on the other side keep a seat for me.I love you old man...Your son, Mark

Dave,Though we hadn't gotten to know one another very well, we had a strong connection. I'm sorry I didn't get to hear more of your adventures and learn more of your history. I will continue to pursue your legacy for the benefit of Dylan.I will miss you, your warm smile and sweet words. Be well and enjoy your freedom from pain and worry. See you later!

"Perhaps they are not stars, but openings in heaven for our loved ones to look down upon us." Rest well Dave, and may God hold your soul in his hands. We only got to know you through Mark and Tina, but know you are well loved.
