My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Finnegan family. I have many fond memories of times shared years ago, hanging out together at the Finnegan homestead, the South Gate Inn and other places. "Ma" was always fun to be around and looked after ALL of her children (her own and everyone elses). The line that we always exchanged when we saw each other was "How do you like me so far?" The response given was always "You're a real 'ting of beauty!" Ma, you have always been a "real'ting of beauty". Rest in peace. You will never be forgotten.

I have so many thoughts of both your mother and all of you. She was very much a part of the "fudpuckers" and we had a lot of fun both at the fire station and the South Gate. She was always there and ready to help everyone. She loved her family very muchand was so proud of each of you.I know how much she will be missed by everyone and hope you will find some comfort knowing that she will no longer have to suffer. I remember when she had her first by-pass surgery. I took Jeanne and Kate to Cortland with me so she could rest and Jeanne cut her finger on a childs chair and we had to go to the emergency room - so much for her resting. I can remember driving her to Stony Brook to see Paul when he was at college there. She was a wonderful lady that will always be in our memory. May God bless and keep her in his loving arms now.
