Dear family of Stephen and Kathy. I wanted to extend sympathy with thoughts and prayers for you. I worked with Kathy as her home care nurse and hospice nurse. I have special memories of them and you as family. It's hard to find the right words. This must be very difficult for you. I hope you find strength in this. I truly admired your family.Take courage. Be kind to yourselves. Sincerely, Susan

Stephen was Tom's cousin. I knew him as the older brother of David, who was my age. David would talk about Steve when I went to visit him when I was in my teens. He talked about the brotherly 'fights' they had in the house, the wrestling matches in the bedroom and the general goofing around they did together. I remember Steve from trips to camp in the adirondaks. His wife Kathy and thier kids running around the campsite. Steve and Kathy seemed so happy and thier kids were just perfect. It is sad to see Steve pass on before he had lived a complete life and even sadder to see his wife Kathy leave even before he did, they were both too young. I grieve for thier children who have lost so much. I pray for them. I will try and support my friend and Steve's brother, David and his family in thier time of need. Aunt Janet and Uncle Jim- we love you dearly and feel for your loss and your pain. Cousin Carol- you were always the strongest and smartest one, I hope I can be as strong as you have been through this whole ordeal. Although Steve's life towards the end was a struggle, he died with his dignity intact. He is undoubtedly in a better place with out pain and with his beloved wife again.

To Steve, my old railroad buddy. I know railroading was in your blood, like mine. I will never our time together as ""point"" on the production gangs. Steve you served your time in the yard of life, now you have permission to clear the yard, switch to track one main to heaven. See you and cathy up there some day. Franz
